“Earth Scrolls” draws inspiration from the birch bark scrolls of our ancestors, vessels of memory, teachings, and messages left for those who come after. Each layer of wax, texture, and natural material carries a trace of story, inviting the viewer to pause and trace the rhythms of life encoded within the piece.

The composition moves between energy and stillness. Warm, earthy tones in the upper section radiate movement and vitality, while the lower, muted layers ground the work in reflection and patience. Together, they echo the cycles of nature and the flow of knowledge through generations.

A raised, intricate form bridges the contrasting zones, symbolizing connection, how disparate elements, experiences, and teachings can coalesce into something harmonious and enduring.
