Welcome to Unseen Realms

My work carries stories, memories, and dream worlds. It is rooted in the land, in heritage, and in the threads that connect past, present, and hidden realms. As a child, I found solace in the quiet, where I could see, hear, and feel everything around me, an awareness of what often goes unnoticed that continues to guide my practice today.

Through encaustic painting and sculpture, I transform raw, organic materials into intuitive narratives that speak to identity, memory, loss, and renewal. Each piece holds fragments of lived experience and inner visions, inviting viewers into a space where the tangible and the ethereal meet.

I embrace the wabi-sabi philosophy, the beauty of imperfection and impermanence. My work celebrates the worn, the weathered, and the raw, finding meaning in cracks, layers, and organic textures. Through beeswax, fibers, and found materials, I explore the quiet elegance of decay and renewal, honoring the stories held within each surface. Each piece is an invitation to sit with these elements, to find harmony in the unfinished and appreciation in the fleeting.

My hope is that as you explore my work, you will find a moment to pause, reflect, and wander, just as I once did, and still do, in those quiet spaces where stories, memory, and spirit quietly unfold.
